With over a decade of experience in business development and growth leadership in facilities management and outsourced services, Adrian has a proven track record of winning, retaining and strengthening major client partnerships.

Adrians career spans large‑scale contracts across healthcare, local government, education and professional services, giving him a deep understanding of complex operational environments and customer expectations.

As Growth Director, Adrian has a key role in shaping and delivering the long-term growth ambition for our Facilities Management’s business across both the public and private sectors.

Adrian and his team are passionate about working with customers to develop solutions that are innovative, sustainable and adaptable to drive better FM and organisational outcomes.

Kim is Liberty’s Business Development Manager, supporting partnerships and bids to deliver effective property services for residents and communities.

James was appointed as Managing Director of our South Planned Maintenance business in December 2021, having formerly been Managing Director of our FM business for five years.
James began his career in quantity surveying and held several roles within the construction and fi t-out sectors. He has nearly 30 years of experience across the built environment and property services sector, fourteen of which have been at Wates.

Paul joined Wates in 2016 and is responsible for the fi nance function across WPS. Paul joined Wates from Capita, where he was Finance Director of property and infrastructure, a professional services business which employed 1,500 consultants internationally. Before this, Paul held several operational and Finance Director roles in the private and public sector within Carillion, including four years as Finance Director for Carillion Defence Services, a £650m FM services business.

Ben was appointed to the WPS Board as Commercial Director in 2015 and has significant experience in large public and private sector procurements. Ben has a BSc in Quantity Surveying and LLM in Construction Law. He is a member of the RICs, CIOB and IoD, a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Constructors. A qualified mediator with a passion for education, Ben regularly mentors future talent within the Built Environment.

Bringing experience from a range of roles in the FM and property sector, Monima joins the WPS board from Canary Wharf group.

Monima leads our health and safety strategy at WPS, driving a culture of proactive risk management and genuine care for the wellbeing of colleagues, customers and their tenants. With more than two decades of experience in senior safety leadership roles, he brings deep expertise in building robust safety frameworks, fostering strong compliance behaviours and championing continuous improvement across complex environments. His inclusive, people‑first approach ensures that safety remains at the heart of how we operate and serve our customers.

Sam joins us from United Living where he held roles leading both IT and transformation, plus decarbonisation and business improvement.

Sam’s industry experience and change management expertise make him ideally placed to further develop our IT systems and strategy and give us even more resilience for the future.

Lisa was appointed to the WPS Board as Corporate Development Director in January 2024.

Before that, she was Chief Commercial Officer and has wide-ranging experience across a broad range of industries. She has more than 15 years’ experience in running and optimising the performance of businesses, specialising in commercial strategy, leadership, customer delivery and the development of talent. Lisa has been instrumental in developing acquisition strategies in her roles, and overseen the successful integration of multiple businesses.

Rachel joined WPS in June 2024 and is a member of the Wates Group HR Leadership Team.

She has more than 10 years’ HR experience working in the construction industry. Most recently, she has held several senior management roles in Wates Construction Limited. Before joining Wates, Rachel worked in the education sector.

David was appointed Non-Executive Chair of WPS in 2024.

David served in the British Army and is a former Private Equity CEO and FTSE 100 Board Director. He has run businesses in more than 70 countries. He chairs two private equity businesses and is a senior advisor to a Swiss Bank and to a family-owned German industrial group. He is a trustee of the Churchill Fellowship, an advisory board member of the Scientific Exploration Society, a WWF Fellow and an advisor to the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
