With nearly four decades of experience, Steve brings sector leading expertise in social housing and retrofit to his role as Managing Director at Liberty.
Having shaped some of the UK’s key housing maintenance and energy efficiency programmes, Steve also helped establish the retrofit proposition at Wates and served as a founding board member of WPS (formerly Wates Living Space) in 2006.
Steve has held a range of senior leadership roles giving him a deep understanding of operational delivery, strategic planning and sector governance. Since joining Liberty, he has sharpened the focus of the business around three core service lines – Heating & Compliance, Energy Transition and Repairs & Maintenance.
Under his leadership, Liberty is strengthening its offer to ensure customers receive a dependable, high-quality service that supports safe, compliant and healthy homes. His approach is rooted in a clear principle ‘everybody benefits’ – residents, clients and the wider communities which Liberty serves.
